Download - Unstable Development Version

The development version usually has new exciting features over the stable version. However it tends to be less thoroughly tested. Things may break. It may not even compile. You shouldn't use it on a production system.

It is the focal point for new work so this is the version you should download if you would like to contribute code.

The best way to get it is via KDE SVN at trunk/KDE/kdegraphics/kolourpaint/. It requires compilation with CMake.

The status of this version [as of 2006-12-17] is as follows:

• We are still fixing Qt4/KDE4 transition breakages and we must get this done or it will not be released in time for KDE 4.0
• Heavy refactoring is occurring
• All basic tools, except the selection tools, now work.
